Merry Christmas

You know when life deals you lemons you can either make lemonade or eat a soar lemon. Well I choose to make lemonade. Colin has brought so much joy and happiness into my life. I forgot just how much I enjoyed Christmas until this year when I was putting up the tree and realized I was singing like my mother used to "and I use to make fun of by the way" various christmas songs. How putting up that tree meant so much -- even though I'm packing up my house to move. But hey it's the diva tree and it's only 2 boxes.

Papa Johnny and Tante Evelyn started the potty training regament while he was with them and thankfully the transition with mommy is going very well. We've even got a song and a DANCE! It's too cute! Funny, let me tell you. But hey at the end of the day if it helps him to go then by all means I'll do WHATEVER it takes! Anything to save on the cost of diapers, YEEKERS are they expensive.

Anyhoo - from Colin and me --- WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

May you and yours have a blessed one.
Love to all, Christy & Colin.

Love These Pics

Forgive

Focusing on the love and light within myself and others, I forgive.

Anytime I seem to be caught in a time of difficulty, I do a mental check: Have I done all that I can do to release any negativity surrounding this situation? Have I taken time to forgive, whether it is another person or myself who needs to be forgiven?
In the past, I have known the healing power of forgiveness. I have experienced this liberating power when someone has forgiven any misstep I have made, and I have learned to free myself from unforgiving thoughts about myself.

In prayer I set the process of forgiveness into motion. These special moments help me see the divine spark of love and light that is an essential part of everyone’s spiritual nature. As I focus on the love and light within myself and others, I forgive and know that healing is taking place.

“Then the Lord said, ‘I do forgive, just as you have asked.’”—Numbers 14:20

Reading to Colin

You know that you are truly - I mean truly loved - when you're read a book by someone who loves you through and through. Colin loves for me to read to him each and every night. The book of choice right now is a book I recently bought "Sponge Bob & Friends". It's huge with lots of illustrations. And when we visit Papa Johnny, rest asure he has Papa Johnny read to him as well. My son is pretty lucky to have all this love in his life. And we are blessed to have this amazing little boy to show us God's grace.

Colin's Development

You know it's hard to believe it's been 2 years since this was taken. I can't believe just how much he's grown. It's mind boggling. You blink and they've grown so much. Too fast if you ask me.
